East Village, is inspired by Urban Street art and sites in Lower Manhattan, NYC.
This painting takes you to the NYC art scene of the 80’s where Wharhol and Basquiat were leading the “Creative Class” seeking affordable loft space and gallery representation. The artist’s own mid-town design firm was flourishing at the same time, but left her wondering if life had led her to the right path of design vs painting.
Are you satisfied and confident that your own path had been sure?
