Our mid-century Style Tigio dining chair is inspired by the works of two Modern-Era Icons -- Hans J. Wegner (Denmark, 1914-2007) and Gio Ponti (Italy, 1891-1979), combining angular Danish design with Italian comfort.
The Tigio Chair is handcrafted with solid walnut, and although the angles are quite rigid, there’s plenty of room for play. Subtle curves along the upper back and tapered legs keep things light. Perfectly suited for a dining or casual setting.
Other designers working in the organic style include Jean Royere, Paul Frankl, George Nakashima, Adrian Pearsall, and Isamu Noguchi.
