An elegant pair of original nightstands designed by Karl Springer, dating to the 1980s. Celebrated for his luxurious materials and refined modernism, Springer frequently employed lacquered linen to create surfaces with subtle texture and depth—an approach beautifully represented in this pair.
Each nightstand features a clean architectural form wrapped in lacquered linen and newly restored in a crisp white finish. A floating glass top adds contrast and sophistication while protecting the surface below. The design incorporates a single drawer with smooth glides and a lower open shelf, offering practical bedside storage while maintaining a light and sculptural presence.
Fully restored by our workshop, the pieces have been carefully refinished to preserve the character of the original linen while bringing the nightstands back to pristine condition. Their restrained geometry and luxurious material palette exemplify the timeless glamour that defines Karl Springer’s work.
A rare and collectible pair that seamlessly complements both modern and classic interiors.
